Advertising assistant needed for the East Oregonian. This position will require strong phone, communication and customer service skills, exceptional computer skills including email and web updating and internet knowledge. Excellent proofreading skills required. Sales skills helpful. Job specific training will be provided. Full-time with wage plus benefits.
Business Manager: Our business office needs a strong, skilled leader to oversee a small staff having vital responsibilities in our Pendleton, Ore. location. You'll need to have the ability to follow through on accounting details while managing the big picture and working as part of a management team. This position is also the local HR contact and works closely with an off-site corporate accounting division. The ideal candidate will have experience in AR, AP, PR, budgeting, excellent communication skills and progressive management experience. Newspaper or media knowledge helpful. Wage plus benefits, including 401(k) plan, profit sharing plan, paid leave and insurances.Send resume and letter of interest, including salary expectations.
Driver needed to deliver East Oregonian publications throughout Northeast Oregon. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds, have a valiid drdiver's license and a good driving record. Part-time, 20-30 hours per week.
Circulation District Manager: Do you like variety in your work? Join the team at the East Oregonian in the circulation and delivery department in Hermiston and your days will never be dull. You'll contract adult and youth carriers, troubleshoot and solve service or delivery issues and promote retention through sales and service by phone and in person. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with people, communicate well and have good computer skills. Background and driving record checks will be completed before hire. Reliable vehicle and the ability to regularly lift 25# is required. Hours are 10 am to 7 pm with evening and rotating weekend work. Full-time with benefits, including mileage reimbursement and commissions.
